Staff was wonderful, very professional. Room was hot. Staff explained AC were not left on, understand conserve energy but very uncomfortable. Floors were nasty, spilled beverage between beds, bathroom had used soap in shower, hair and small black pieces of something on floor. FD staff gave me cleaning rag and supplies so I could clean as other room offered was worse. Just passing through but not worth the 94.00 rate.
Hotel was dirty and the floors in the room we stayed in looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. Do not recommend this hotel. Check out clerk took forever to come to the desk to check me out because she had to go outside to smoke.
In the area for quite awhile working on the I-85 Expansion Project and was glad to find a place that allowed pets, plenty of space to park our trucks, continental breakfast, and clean rooms. Red Roof Inn Gaffney has delivered and exceeded our expectations. Staff and Owners have been very helpful and patient as we come and go at very odd times pending our work schedule. The place is an older establishment that has been newly remodeled (some improvements still going on i.e. new A/C, office chair, irons, etc....) in the heart of anything you would need for either vacation, travel, or business. We've been here for 2 weeks now and will return again on Monday. We have had no major issues or inconveniences and look forward to returning.
Pet friendly and there is a large grassy area away from the road to throw a ball for the dog. However, the inside was unclean. The shower curtain smelled like pee. There was a lingering scent in the whole room that was off putting. Staff was friendly. Very minimal breakfast.
Red Roof Inn is our preferred hotel each time we come to town. The staff are very professional and are readily available to assist with any need that may arise. The complimentary breakfast is a pleasant bonus. I noticed during our most recent stay I noticed the rooms have been nicely refreshed/upgraded.
